Two days is never enough time, but in this case, it was definitely the best decision to shorten Colin's trip down here and make it just a weekend. Last week, there was a raffle set up outside the school nurse's office as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, with little info packs about self-exams, screenings, and so on. Pink hair! Bright!

After we go check in for the walk, I have to work until 12:45 tonight, and then we have to be downtown by 6:45 or so in the morning. Not much sleep for either of us... pray that the adrenaline gets us going tomorrow!

I'm tired, but now that I've got my computer open and am doing the little online things that I haven't done all day, I'm less ready to fall asleep than I was about half an hour ago, when I was leaning on Colin's shoulder and in grave danger of falling asleep standing up in the kitchen ( Read more... )

It feels like Sunday, but alas, it's only Saturday. My work-week still has one more day... fortunately, tomorrow's a shorter day, and it's made even shorter by the fact that I don't need to start working on lunch at 8:30 AM. Blah. I feel gross. Mostly because I had a snack at around 10:30, which is way too late to be eating, and my body doesn't like that. I really need to stop eating when I'm bored and/or studying (sometimes synonymous; sometimes not), or all that weight I've lost in the past 8 months won't stay gone.
